Just wanted to make a few notes about the speeches!
1. Make sure that you dress appropriately: casual dress. Slacks and button up shirts are preferred. Dress as if you were going to an interview for a job in a professional atmosphere.
2. Bring your proposal and completed outline. (two copies of outline- one for you and one for me)
3. You should be able to get all pertinent information on 1-2 notecards if you choose to use them. Anymore is probably too many.
4. Don't forget your powerpoint!! Test it out before class and have a back up plan such as a flashdrive and alternate email address that you send it to.
5. Practice, Practice, Practice... Make sure you are within time. I will cut you off if you go over 6 min.!!!
