Learning Modules

I wanted to make a note that may help your groups when working with the chapters. It is important that you are able to take the content from the chapters and identify it in your lives, apply it in your lives, and improve your communication due to a better understanding. Consider these three attributes when you are coming up with ideas to share in class. Chances are that the sharing of the ideas that you focus on within your designated chapter will be relevant and welcome to the members of the class and quite possible helpful.

Chat and Modules

Hello Everyone!!

I wanted to let everyone in both com 114 classes know that I have added the "Chat" option to the e-learning board. This will give groups the opportunity to chat in real time. This will come in handy for the learning modules. If there are any questions, please let me know!!!

Also, I want everyone to know that it is going to be a bit rocky getting the hang of the learning modules. The most important thing to do is come to class prepared and having read the assigned chapter! This is a mode of learning and I have no doubt that it will catch on fast. Again, if there are any questions, let me know.

Things to know about modules:

1. Pick three to five main points in the chapter.
2. Think of a way to present the information to the class.
3. Make sure you incorporate the class. ( This can be as easy as asking questions or giving scenarios and having class comment)
4. Make sure you have an outline.
5. Remember that all you are doing in essence is starting a discussion, class participation is expected.

Hey gangs!!
